I, for one, think it is. I think that more people get ahead by cheating in today's education system than by actually being intelligent. The school systems don't care about the problem either.

I don't think that it's that the schools don't CARE about the problem, they just don't know how to deal with it. I mean really, how many teachers are going to take the time to sit down and check every essay, paper, or even project to see if it's original or not?

I do agree that cheating is becoming more and more of a problem. Maybe if the teachers would actually learn how to recognize it, then they could start taking steps to preventing it.

Cheating in school is epidemic. It hurts the progress of those doing the cheating and it is detrimental to our society as a whole. These cheaters can never feel any sense of true accomplishment or pride. Unfortunately these people enter the workplace totally unprepared and our world ends up with more and more ignorance and incompetence.

Yes I think it is a serious problem. I think the school system does care, but you have to catch it inorder to correct it.

Nope, because if you do, you'll totally screw yourself in college, because it's about impossible to cheat in college, and the dorky saying is true if you cheat, "your only cheating yourself..."

Well cheating in school, ruins the childs chances for learning, but it all depends on how they cheat, like copying? looking up the answers? i dunno? I guess the worst would be bribery.....

Hope it helps
