I am not sure what to call myself but I can say that I am grateful for the glass and the portion allotted me. So I guess I am more optimist than pessimist.

I'm an optomist. I went through hell while growing up, but always had a sense that I'd get through it all, and I did. Things have a way of working themselves out. I expect good things out of life, and often get them. That doesn't mean that I'm blind to reality, of course. Bad things can happen to anyone, but so can truly wonderful things.

I can say with all honesty that I am an eternal optimist. I am rarely upset or depressed, and bad moods tend to be short-lived. Like anyone else, I have my bad days, but they are far outnumbered by the good. At one time, I would have described myself as effervescent, but I have become more sedate as I've gotten older.
I definitely view the glass as half full, and quite a bit more as well.

lol, I tent to be optimist, although I can swing back and forward as if in battle with myself seeking the truth on an issue, before I go optimist again. perhaps like most things with me tend to be level, center, fair, middle.

I try to be an optimist but sometimes in my life I fall short and let pessimism take control, so I guess I am both!
