I was recently heartbroken, but at this time I think I'm breaking someones heart, which brings up the ultimate question..who gets hurt more or more easily, guys or girls?

Men are hurt more because they do not express their feelings. There are more suicides after divorces by males than there are by women because men have fewer outlets to vent their feelings. Women are constantly talking to friends, crying, and working out their feelings. Women are far more equipped to deal with a break-up in the short-term.

Your question is like, "What came first, the chicken or the egg? It has no right or wrong answer. Most females will say the girl & most males will say the male. If there is true emotion in a relationship, the one who ends it feels it just as much as the other person. Each relationship that we have in life was/is/will be different. Some will hurt more than others & some wont hurt at all. Hope this gives you some insight.

well nicole, I think that both people get heartbroken the same, it is just all in the way that we handle it, I really got my heart broken recently but how I show it and deal with it every day is just by the day...I think that everyone gets hurt but it is how we survive that really makes us who we are. Guys tend to keep more to themselves or lash out at that person but I can tell you from experience...we are just as emotional if not more than girls, at least that is my opinion :o)

Guy or girls it's not about the gender but the heart that's involved.....and though woman show their emotional hurts openly most of the time, guys do having feelings too but they are better at hiding it.
The one who gets left behind.........usually is more hurt....as you said you were recently heartbroken.... you know the feelings......and remember guys are human too...........

Assuming you are talking about love or dating. I think it depends on how much the person is in love with a person. I don't think heart breaking is any difference between girl or guy.

girls b/c we get emotionally attatched too fast with out thinking.....but in some cases guys can get hurt more too b/c they don't know how to deal with their emotions like we do after a break up....their not as strong as us mentally so it gets kind of tricky a lil....although i still think girls get hurt alot more we're just stronger when it comes to dealing with it....most guys like to mess with multiple females...and are not even close to thinking about getting involved...us girls are just looking for somebody to love us....and when it turns out to not be what we expected...thats when we end up hurt.

Women feel things deeper and more passionately than Men.
Women get hurt far more often than men because men only want three things. They want something to eat, a beer, and sex.

i think that girls do because we make more room for people in our hearts then guys do for our "lover" . And plus guys just shrug it off after a few days and girls really take a blow.
