You might measure bigger than exected or have elevated hormone levels. You might get pregnancy symptoms earlier. The only way to know for sure is an ultrasound.

You may start showing earlier than normal, but you probably won't find out till your ultrasound, which may be done earlier than normal if you request and demand it. You may also be able to have your doctor listen for more than one heartbeat at your office visit. Make sure to ask cuz she will undoubtedly stop after she hears one, assuming that's all there is. I have never heard of your symptoms being more severe, of course I personally had two rough pregnancies, n&v all 9 months. Wish you the best!

your symptoms will be as twice as much!!! You will be double nauseated, extremely tired, hungry as 2-4 people, bigger than a normal single pregnancy and you will have two heartbeats on your ultrasound!!

Your symptoms will be the same, but they will be more intense and greater in size!! You'll show alot earlier than you will with a single baby! Your doctor can tell by your level of hcg as well as an ultrasound! Good Luck!!

Double the trouble and double the Fun!!!!

Ultrasound - even that will probably miss the other baby. I wouldn't rely on the heartbeat - there are times that they can't even find one baby's heartbeat. I always wanted twins but now that I got two baby's 8 years apart - I think I'm set.:) Good luck!!

Your doctor will know that. Especially if you get a sonogram.
