I haven't really had a long good relationship with any guy yet but recently the guy I like asked me out....
now I have no idea what to do with him..not that I don't want to be around him..but I like my space..
how can I hang out with him and my friends without being totally stuck to him?
also..
how do I know if I'm moving too fast [hugging, holding hands, kissing, sitting on his lap...etc.]
I really want to go to a movie with him and some of my friends this weekend but do you think I should wait? [he asked me out earlier this week]

Ask him if he wants to go to the movie with you and your friends maybe he will invite some of his friends for some of your friends. I'm sure he will let you know when he wants to move the relationship to the next level. Just go slow and take your time. Enjoy him just being around.

You two shouldn't be attached at the hip... Everyone wants space. You should be individuals and pursue all your interests that you had before meeting.
If you want to go with the girls.... so do it....
You are the one that controls what happens..
If you like to be close when you are together, great, but your friends certainly don't want to be around when you are all snuggly and mushy.. save that for your personal one on one with him.
Be with your girls and be yourself... That is who he was attracted to. Don't try to plan everything, just let it happen and use common sense....
