She was quoting thte Declaration of Independence. Exactly what part of that do you find repulsive and ignorant? Your comments are a little odd for a person who claims to be "very tolerant of others beliefs giving them respect and a will to listen".
Hoping the best for you anyway...

As she has now removed her question, I would say that she found it difficult to deal with the truth that most of her answerers, including myself, pointed out, that the Founding Fathers were Deists, not Christians.

I agree with you.
Once again I reiterate--
"As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion; as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquillity, of Mussulmen; and, as the said States never entered into any war, or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties, that no pretext arising from religious opinions, shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries."

Well, first of all, it's not so much that I HATE America....I'm just embarrassed by it.....mostly because of religious nutcases like her. She should understand that this country was founded on a principle of religious FREEDOM.
And most of the preambles just say that they are "grateful to God"....nowhere does it relly suggest that everyone should follow their belief systems.

This is the true face of the evangelical Right. She's just rude enough to come out and say it openly.

I'm really getting tired of having superstitious pinheads question my right to my citizenship.

I happen to disagree, The more and more people try to push our country from god. The more and more our country falls apart!

ignorant implies that she is capable of learning--I don't think she ever will, so that classifies her as (literally) retarded, even though it's her mind numbing religion that retards her
