I have been best friends with a woman for the past 8 years......the past 8 months we became closser but never crossed the line into relationship just friends . Then one day I started getting feelings for he that I have suppressed and she told me that she had them aswell. We started dating and I had never been happier. we never slept together but kissed and cuddled. She then all of a sudden said that we were only friends and never any thing more even though she had told me that she had deep feelings for me and that the chemistry between us was very powerfull (which it was) I am left heart broken have told her this but she hasnt responded to it....I recently met someone else on the rebound and she said that she was upset that I didnt tell her and that she cant trust me anymore....Im just lost

What she has for you was fantasy. Her fantasy was fulfill and she don't feel anything more then just friend. She had been with you for 8 months and realized that what she felt was no more then just friend. Stop talking to her and move on. You can not expect the other girl not to be mad. I would be too if i was her. She is your rebound. My advise to you is let your friend completely go. I mean no talking to contact nothing nada. If you still do later on if you date someone else and she found out the two of you had dated. She will feel a little insecure and i may not trust you because what if you two could get back together.

I'm so sorry this has happened to you. I am sensing that she was keeping something from you from the get go. She may not have wanted you to find out about and that's why she shut you out. It is a shame. I guess it's over. Sorry.
