Remember who the party's for - his nephew! The baby's parents are in charge of the guest list. It could have been a small family-only party or maybe he didn't feel comfortable bringing you or maybe he just didn't think to mention it. The point is that you'll never know until you ask. Yes, I understand that you feel hurt and excluded, but again, this wasn't his party and inviting you may not have been his decision. Good luck!

If you are on and off, maybe your BF does not see you as a long-term part of his life. I think you have every right to be mad. You should have him explain himself. Why would a BF not invite his GF to a family gathering? Is he embarrassed to be seen with you? Is he just not interested in having you hang out with his family? You need answers, girl. Good luck!

He was not the one that did the inviting. Maybe there are other family members that do not think that you are serious in the relationship.
Ask him nicely and if he hims and haws about it maybe you need to think about where your relationship is and where is it really going. Maybe the rest of the family doesn't see you ending up together.

Sorry you feel bad but this family sounds screwy. I've never heard of a post birth baby shower for the baby. I wouldn't bother being mad.

Don't expect to be included in his family activities if your relationship has been off and on. He may not want to bring you in so close considering you may not be around next month. Marry him and you can get invited to everything.

that's bad...it means that you are not the girls he wants to marry and that's why you are not invited to family events. may he he does not want his family to know that you are back together, may be they did not like you ...
