Any kind of Mexican food is my favorite, but I'm really in love with Fish Tacos. Here's my absolute favorite recipe for them, so yummy!

Crispy Fish Tacos

Peanut oil, for frying
2 cups panko bread crumbs*
3 eggs
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 pounds halibut, snapper, or other firm flesh white fish
8 corn tortillas
1/2 head napa cabbage, shredded
Pink Chili Mayo, recipe follows
Lime wedges, for garnish
*Available in the Asian section of your market.
To fry the fish: Fill a large heavy bottomed pot about 1/3 full of peanut oil. Heat to 375 degrees F. While the oil is heating, put the breadcrumbs into a shallow dish. Break the eggs into another shallow dish, season with salt and pepper, and beat them with 2 tablespoons of water. Cut the fish into 1-inch wide strips. Dip them into the egg, then coat them well with the breadcrumbs. Set aside and let them rest for 10 minutes. Cook the fish a few pieces at a time until golden brown and cooked through, about 3 to 5 minutes. Drain on paper towels.
To make the tacos: Heat a dry cast iron skillet over medium heat. Warm a corn tortilla in the pan until it softens, about 30 seconds. Place a fish strip on it, top with some of the shredded cabbage, and a big dollop of Pink Chili Mayo. Squeeze on some lime juice, roll up, and eat!

Pink Chili Mayo:
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 1/2 cups sour cream
2 canned chipotle peppers in adobo sauce
Juice 1/2 lime
Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper
Put the mayonnaise, sour cream, peppers, and lime juice in a blender and process to a puree. Refrigerate the mayo for 1/2 hour to let the flavors to blend; taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper.
Yield: 8 servings

Mmmm... Ham hocks, cooked cabbage, rouladen, Nurnberger Bratwurst with fried potatoes and bacon, Hainanese Chicken Rice (I grew up in Singapore), tom yum goong, beef tenderloin with green peppercorn or pork tenderloin with apples... If you are looking to impress and do not have much of a background in cooking, a viable option would be steak. Take out your trusty pan, preheat, and saute a striploin until desired doneness. Deglaze the pan with a broth or wine, a meat stock is best, and add your aromatics: onions, garlic, shallots if you prefer, and any herbs that you like. Don't let the garlic burn or it will all be bitter. Let it reduce then add some cream. Allow it to reduce a little more and add butter to give it thickness and to make the sause richer. If you like, fry some bacon and mushrooms to add to the sauce. This is already a good sized meal, but if you want the steak to have companionship, buy those wonderful little potatoes, there are many variaties to choose from. Boil them with a pinch of salt and serve along side the steak.

Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, you take two slices of whole wheat bread a jar of jif peanut butter and spread it over the entire one slice of bread then take a jar of jelly grape or strawberry what ever brand is on sale and spread if over the other one slice of whole wheat bread then you put the two slices together that becomes a sandwich. Some times if your really hungry you could make a triple decker just add one more slice and a whole bunch of peanut butter and jelly. You then lay flat on a paper plate and slice it in half. This will make it much easier to hold and helps keep the jelly from running down your hand. Then the last step while the cold sandwich is collecting air get you a large plastic cup of cold milk this will help chase down the peanut butter when it gets stuck going down your throat.
This is my own recipe for dinner in minutes that is a favorite and everyone will just love.
I do hope this helps enjoy :)

Spaghetti! It's my ultimate food (simplistic, I know.. but that's another beauty of it!)... I use Barilla spaghetti, cook it in a shallow pan halfway with water for 9-10 minutes, and while that's happening, I just simmer some Ragu (1/2 lb meat style! It's the best!!)... if I've got garlic bread, that goes into the toaster oven, and frozen meatballs are also delicious... ^^ Fatty? Yes! Good? Yes! Almost no real cooking? Hey, it tastes good, and that's all that matters... I can't help it if the frozen and premade stuff's yummy!

My favorite food is indian food. I bought a big bag of basmati rice that I steam. Most dishes take onions, chili's, garlic and ginger paste, and ghee. I keep this on hand, but buy the spices pre mixed due to prices of buying them individually. Then just follow directions on the packet

anywayz, I'd have to say that my favorite food is this really weird, obscure, but completely delicious Korean dish called kalbi. it's good stuff. It takes a week to marinate, just in case u need something fast. You can find the recipe on google easily.

I know, it's completely Asian. so what, you want me to apologize?!?
