I am a man and I say yes...because I have been aroused just by looking at a woman (who was really hot and sexy or really really cute).

As for the woman finding about this attraction, just pay attention to the faces of males who surround you. If they are "happy", smiling at you, giving you stares and glances, trying to make eye contact, trying to make conversations (more than usual), and just simply commenting (may it be something simple and nice or a lewd comment), it is pretty safe to bet that they are attracted to you.
