I have a friend who did and had another baby right away. Don't do it. You are even more fertile now than you have ever been. Give your body a break. Your partner will be there for you when you get on birth control. I have been pregnant 3 times and each time I reminded my husband that we will be together for a life time and we don't want another baby right now. It seems to do the trick.

I would say yes if you are comfortable with it, stop immediately if it hurts at all. Also make sure you practice safe sex, unless you want to be pregnant again so soon. There are so many people that go in for their 8 week post-partum check pregnant again. My advice...Just be careful!

Yes and no. Let me give you both answers. First of all, after a woman has baby, the cervix is opened and needs to close. If you have sex with a woman, germs can enter her open cervix and cause her to become very very sick. Doctors say six weeks. In all actuallity though, I have three children and had sex as early as three and a half weeks after. I was also honest with my doctor and yes she chastised me, but it's important to be honest if they asked you have you had sex b.c it is much easier to become preganant, and they need to check for germs/ bacteria. I say wait at least until the bleeding stops. Give the body time to heal. Especially if this is a first child, I'm assuming since you're asking the question. and don't ejaculate inside of her or if you're a woman don't allow him to release inside of you.

Lots of people do ...but it can cause problems , the first being it can result in another pregnancy because everything is not back to it's normal state yet and the pathway is wide open ...you can get pregnant again very very easy. Second and also because things are so "open" you can get an infection really easily ...pelvic inflammatory disease can cause alot of problems with you reproductive system and can cause scar tissue that prevents future pregnancies or results in tubal pregnancies. I would wait if I were you.

Best to wait till you get the all clear from the doctor, you dont want for her to get an infection, tear the tissues down there or get pregnant again!! There are more risks than benefits at this point, so have "rosey palmer" help you out till she is ready!!....or if she isnt passed out from having and taking care of a newborn, she may help you and "rosey" out!! good luck and congratulations

My husband and I did 4 weeks after with our first, my check-up wasn't until 6 weeks after baby was born. We did it 2 weeks before with our second and my check-up wasn't until 3 weeks after....It just depends on your body and how you feel down there. If you are still sore definitly don't, but if everything is starting to feel normal just try it, if it hurts stop and try again in another week. That is the advice my own doctor gave us!

It is really not recommended, everything is wide open for lack of a better way to say it, this could lead to infection and many other things. And you really should be seen by the doctor to ensure everything has went back where it belongs. Good luck and God bless

I was told the green light was 6 weeks after delivery. But I'm not sure what the time frame is if the woman had a C-Section.

I would wait until after. a post pardom check up is days after the baby is born and that may be a little bit early. Atleast wait until the Appointment is over with.
