It contains the spoken greetings, beginning with Akkadian, which was spoken in Sumer about six thousand years ago, and ending with Wu, a modern Chinese dialect.
Human Beings put these greetings on a golden disc in Voyager to be carried into space. You think the aliens that will listen to it and conducted the first experiments on Earth with human beings all those thousands of years ago might have had nuclear weapons. Maybe they will recognise Akkadian as one of their own dialects.

If as you say Lots wife was killed by an atomic weapon, then why wasn't Lot also turned into slat as they were together at the time?
What the bible story was saying was that you must follow God, and if you start to follow God & then turn arround to look back at what you left behind I.E the things that you gave up to follow God (as Lot & his wife gave up their home) then you can stop yourself from going to a better place in God & the riches of living a Godley life.

Assuming it was an Atomic Blast, there would still be high Radioactive Residue in the soil. Yes ?
I am more inclined to believe the Biblical account as it is written.

Actually, no. The victims of Hiroshima were turned into ashes and bone, not granules of salt.
