1.missing clear facts, statistics (facts can be proved)

2.sometimes the logic doesn't flow.
like saying because i get presents Santa exists.

3.the source May be known to be unreliable.
as in the current white house, the national enquirer.

1. The facts must be correct. Fact-checking is a must.

2. The logic must be sound. Not based on emotional arguments.

3. Shouldn't appear too biased. Specifically, an article should not ignore the opposition's arguments or misrepresent them. It must address them.

1) the methods are inadequately described, incorrect for the knowledge needed, or appear to have been badly performed.
2) The conclusions are not supported by the data
3) The data analysis is flawed

the article is not emotional, lack of details why they need to be convinced, or maybe what they try to convince is not interested.
