that's a very common emotion to have with a newborn baby to care for. i've had 4 kids and had that same feeling with all of them.
it's all very overwhelming right now...the responsibility, the innocent life that is totally dependant on you right now.
and you do deserve him.
it get's better each day . hang in there!

I don't know what makes you say that. Everyone deserves their children, and every children deserve their parents. If you think you have some faults or problems like drinking, then you can fix that for the sake of your son. You guys can start to learn how to be good to each other.

Well you have not said why you think you don't deserve him.
But you have got him, so make the most of him, you have him to love and care for - question nothing else, hold him in your arms, kiss his head and be really grateful you have him.

Love, enjoy and guide. Never mind whether you deserve him or not. You be there for him always, never be judgemental but understanding and caring. With humour and respect he will deserve you.

what does it mean " you don't deserve him"?
just make sure you don't stop loving him...he didn't ask to be born
as well as love, you have a duty to him, you are his mother and have responsibilities
good luck to you
