it all depends on your mental copasity, some children are very mature for their ages and some are younger mentally, it comes with the same question as when can a child cook his or her own dinner?,... it depends on how mentally mature they are...
i was babysitting my brother and sisters at age 11 so it all depends on the parents the law and the mentality of the child....

When i was 6 years old, i was babysitted by a 9 year old, and that person made about $10 an hour. I would say you can handle it. Just stickem in front of the TV and make it look like you did what the parents wanted you to (lol jk).

Might vary from state to state or country...but around here you cannot leave children in the house with anyone under the age of 14.

i would say a mature 13 or 14 at best, i think its 12 yrs old in my state NY:)

depends where you at in some states the minimum age is 14 and others you cannot be a minor watching over minors and is illegal and the parents can get cited for it, and even get their kids take away
