I love to ride my bike in the cold, i find it more refreshing. while riding i knowticed that my shocks were more stiff while riding in the cold, should i keep doing this and not worry, or could it pose a harm on my bike?

Most likely because they are hydraulic oil-filled shocks. This oil is squeezed through a tiny orfice, this provides the cushion. When oil gets cold, it gets thicker and travels slower through the orfice, causing a stiffer ride. Same thing in a car/truck in the cold.

You definetly DO NOT need to replace your fork. As was said above, in cold weather oil thickens up, and makes the shock stiffer. If the stiffness bothers you, change out the shock oil for a lighter weight one, and it will feel like it does in warm weather.
