There a couple good pet insurance companies out there. A few companies are: VPI Pet Insurance ASPCA Pet Health Embrace Pet Insurance Because you didn't specify for what type of animal and if it had any health problems I don't really have any info on how cheap it will be. I think VPI has a plan starting around $11. Plan cost depends on what type of services you want covered. The more you want covered, obviously, the higher the monthly cost. Be advised that most pet health insurances won't cover a "pre-existing" health condition. And also be aware that with pet insurance you have to pay all the money up front at the vet's office and then be reimbursed IF your claim is accepted, as not all claims will be accepted. Petco has low cost pet insurance, either stop by and ask about it or try petco.com and see if it is on there.
