Just wondering if anyone knows, when should you carve your pumpkin? How soon before Halloween? I was born in NY where you can carve up to a month in advance and the pumpkin is fine, but now i'm in Florida and the last few years, I carved a week before and put it outside.Within days it was mush!!! Will the pumpkin last if I keep it indoors carved? Thanx

that happened to me came from NJ moved to FL it might help a litlle but not a lot it will still mush carve ita few days in advanced

You can leave it inside, and then put it out, but dont do it too long before, because ive seen people in my neighborhood in FL, and their pumpkins are "mush" within 1 week.

do they celebrate halloween all the way down there? Id say move back North with rest of us and then you can have as many jackolanterns as you want and eairly too.
