Actually lollipops can help you lose weight. There are a couple of ways this works.

The first option is to grab that lollipop and go for a long walk or a jog. Take along a large bottle of water because water helps you lose weight and flushes out any toxins in your body. Then come home...toss the lollipop on the counter for tomorrow's run and eat a balanced meal.

The second option is something you're probably looking for because you might not have the time to exercise.

The second way is they settle the oral fixation most people have. That's the need for putting something in your mouth, like smokers when they try to quit...they are so used to that hand to mouth movement and having something there that they eat instead of smoke. Other people always chew on their nails or on a pen.

By eating a lollipop or two you aren't consuming many calories, though you are getting sugar which messes up your metabolism, but you are satisfying an urge to eat in some cases.

Don't do that thinking you'll lose weight entirely though because your body needs some calories to function..otherwise it stores every bit of calories it can as fat and burns muscle tissue.

The best bet is to go with option one that I provided.

Total myth. The best way to lose weight is a balanced diet and exercise and lots of water. Adding tons of sugar to your system with lollipops is really bad - excess sugar affects your kidneys, your liver and your skin adversely. Sorry, but there are really no true shortcuts to losing weight healthily.

I don't think so. ;) Eating a balanced diet would do the trick. Also, eating smaller meals, and more of them, throughout the day would help. Replacing water with sodas, juice and other drinks would help as well. Many of us are actually dehydrated and don't drink enough water. You might also want to check your portions of food. ;) Well, good luck.
*Oh and one more thing... brushing your teeth after every meals (or at least twice a day) can help you prevent cavaties. Even healthy foods can cause cavaties, such as a banana. So brush often! =)*

No they dont they dont surpress the appetite and would actually have the opposite affect on your body, sugers turn into carbohydrates in the body and if carbohydrates are not burnt off they turn and store themselves as fat........
Well thats what ive learnt anyway.
