Place one on your porch.Construct a scarecrow, and sit him on top of the bale. Surround the scarecrow with pumpkins and gourds. Add a bunch of tall corn stalks , Indian corn and orange berries to this Fall scene.

shape a bail of hay into a pumpkin spray with orange and make a face.
Shape it into a wagon with two horses pulling it along with a coffin in the back and have a few headstones. make a grave yard sceene.
Make a rectangular witch by covering it with a black cape.

Use straw bales, not hay. Straw is much cheaper and has the lighter look I think you may be going for, plus it won't make anyone allergic! Place pumpkins on top :-)

Ive seen the big round ones spay painted orange and then faces painted on in black to look like a jackolantern

Stack them and put carved pumpkins on different levels. Use only flashlights and not candles so as not to have a bonfire.

for out
you could line you walkway with them and place skuls pumpkins cadle bags or even just christmas light giving people something nice to look at.
you could stack them in a half circle on your front porch with little pumkins on them place a chair in front of it then you could dress like a scarcrow and and scare people as they come on your porch.
if you have alot of them you could build a tunnal for kids to crawl through.TELL ME HOW MANY YOU HAVE AND WERE YOU WANT TO PUT THEM AND I'LL GIVE YOU MORE IDEAS.
