Whoops! I just recognized that I spelled disagree wrong. Ha!
But in any sense, I do stand by my premise that there is not a thing wrong with dressing up as something scary for Halloween. Just so you know. = )

Most Christians dont celebrate Halloween.
But I say if your intentions are good and not evil, then sure, be whatever you want!

well I wouldn't dress as anything that is a real evil, like a witch or the devil. It's just dimming you spiritual consiousness. It may not seem like it, but it's just another way for the devil to get people to think he's harmless, thus falling into his trap. One thin leads to another.

No, of course not, halloween is for kids and it is supposed to be fun, not evil or sadistic or anything bad. today, halloween is very different from my days. Kids can't even walk out the door by themselves, what a shame? jose

1. Why would a Christian participate in one of the devil's days?
When you really dig deep into the origins of Halloween, you will see where this day promotes.
I will not allow my kids to be part of it. They know why.

halloween is a pagan celebration and should not even be considered. as a Christian we celebrate the harvest festival instead of dark demonic ideas depicted in the costumes that people wear. it is not a sin to dress up, but who gets the glory?? is Jesus Lord of all?

I don't think it is a sin,but I am an open christian.not a 'witness' or one that refuses to celebrate the local holidays.
there are many sterio types about 'christians' that are not true at all.

The Bible doesn't speak on that (that I'm aware of), but I don't think a Christian who wants to glorify God would do that. To glorify basically means to let others see God through you (by your actions), and that's hard to do when you're dressed like His adversary!

I don't think it is a sin, if your heart says that it's just fun and games. But why you would want to be scary to others is beyond me.

It's never a sin to have fun, as long as you don,t hurt another person.
