As of yet, the sky has still managed to remain in place. However, the concept of marriage has been skewered and mangled beyond recognition. Marriage is the holy union between man and woman in the presence of God. Marriage is a holy institution of which government should not label nor lay a single finger upon. "Congress and make no law regarding the establishment of religion." (check your constitution...) Also, I am no biggot. I know and have friends who are gay/lesbian. Their good people though I dissagree with the lifestyle, let them have 'unions' instead.

i don't have self assurance that the sky fell in Vermont. it somewhat is real that homosexuality is an abomination. it somewhat is stated in the bible that in case you lay with somebody of the comparable intercourse in a lustful and sinful way you would be punished. sooner or later the sky will fall and probably alot extra beneficial than that once God places his judgement on us for our sins and our disobedience.

Last time I looked, the law just said same sex marriage was OK - nothing was said about GAY marriage.

Actually, most states allow gay marriage - a gay man & a gay woman can marry. But 2 heterosexual men can't marry & 2 heterosexual women can't marry.

It's NOT a gay issue - the Christian Conservatives just want you to THINK it is.

Why would the sky fall if happy couples got married? I thought by definition all couples marrying were happy.

Not yet, Jim. God is giving us all another chance...

before he fries us in the eternal torments where there is wailing and gnashing of teeth, where the fire is unquenched and the worm dieth not and all that jazz. (I can just pull that **** out of my head without even trying... scary...)

Or else he's just real busy trying to figure out what to do with Iraq. I mean, a God's got his limits, you know? Only so many hours in the day. And Mrs God is getting real unhappy with his hours these days.
