remember that its only catchy stuff that will stick like names ending in an 'oh' sound (ie johno) or an 'ee' sound (ie johnny).
Use something that guys (kids and adults) like in general if you want an actual noun. Ohterwise it will be crap either when he is a kid or adult. (Preferably think about it as an adult because you are an adult for so much longer...)

I call my two little boys a few different names. One gets Boo and Tiger and the other gets Cookie and Buster. It is so cute how they answer to there own personal little name. Whats even cuter is that my four year old now callls my two year old cook! (short for Cookie).

I know alot of Bubba's. Actually that is my little brothers nickname. We call my oldest son C.D. (that is his initials) middle son Colty D, and my youngest son is blessed with Bam Bam. I think it all depends on what his name is.

um whats the boys real name? what distinguishes him and makes him unique or what r his interests there are so many possibilities for a nick name...u were just way too vague
