unfortuantly for him- He's interested in you more than your interested in him. He evidently wants more than a plutonic relationship. You must be frank with him but don"t hurt his feelings to bad. You could loose his friendship, or with the right answer make a friend for life!

Tell him the truth! If he won't just be your friend then move on. You never know, my husband started out with me telling him we'd only be friends. A year later we were way more than friends.
