As I will be working on Samhain (sadly), I will only have a little time to celebrate it. So, I will be doing a simple ritual of burning two black candles, asking the Ori (God and Goddess) for wisdom, guidance, and protection, and remembering my ancestors. You may do something along those lines; your ceremony can be simple, complicated, or anywhere in between.
Blessed be!

clear off a table top (if you dont have an altar) or remove all the tools from your altar, set up photographs or memetos of loved ones that have passed, light a candle and offer a glass of wine or juice & a shortbread cookie in a small dish. Set an extra place at the supper table. doesnt have to be anything fancy, if you want a good time find a withces ball near you or an open samhain ritual, you could look on http://www.witchvox.com/vn/vn_queries/vs_gr.html?searchtype=gname&searchterm=

Bonfire! Absolutely essential. Heck, invite the nosy neighbors.
This is, in many cultures, a day of the dead; it's a good time to reminisce about those who have gone, and a common practice it to set an extra spot at the table for the dead (some put dried corn on the plate, others put food on which is given to pets later). At the same time, it's the start of the new year--write down bad habits and toss 'em in the fire, and write new resolutions and lock 'em up somewhere safe.

Get Silver Ravenwolf's Halloween
It has a lot of suggestions
And make sure to douse are forms of light at midnight and then relight them.
Buy a new broom that you will burn next year. This is not to sweep dirt off the floor but negative influences from your sacred space and home
If you can, start a small fire. we will be using a bar-b-que grill - one of those charcoal burning kind since we live in the city.
Welcome the spirits of the departed in for the night and prepare a plate for them when you eat dinner.
Dedicate yourself to the study of the craft for a year and a day, and begin to study in earnest. Remember this is our new year's eve.
Clean your altar or build one for your patron. As simple as a piece of wood anchored to your wall like a shelf is good
Bright blessings and good luck

Do a study on what Samhain is and find those things in it that apply to you personally. Otherwise you'll be over run with all of our answers.

Have a dumb supper. Cook a meal, and leave 1 place setting for your ancestors. Do not speak during the meal. Eat in silence and solemnity.

You don't have to do anything complicated. Just simply casting a circle and remembering the dead will do.
