Guys if you had the money to marry more then one wife would you and Why. Sisters if your husband wanted to help a sister in marriage for the Sake of Allah would you support him. I am not talking about the sexual needs. Please don’t speak stupidly. Non Muslim this is a question that you can answer also but think carefully. Men have many gf in the west that there other doesn’t know. A marriage to more hen one wife in Islam when done right is to help the woman who has children and their husbands die or other things. Also for a woman who can’t get pregnant instead of being put out she can agree to a co wife so that she will please her husband and also be a co mother instead of missing out. Again plz no stupid answer or emotional answers use thought.

A woman can't marry more then one husband due to if she has the child she might not know who the father is and then the child will not get his rights to inheritance and they blood line wouldn’t be know. Plz only post if you have a really thought on these not just emotional thoughts lets make this fun not bashing plz

In Islam Man can marry up to four women. But it not obligatory, and there are very tough conditions.
First man should be able to do justice with all wives, by all means. Absolutely no injustice with any one.
It is obligatory that he should support properly those women, monetarily as well.
Man can not marry women just for his pleasur.
It is allowed for man to marry more then one up to four at a time.
_If some lady need help or support, and need respectable shelter.
_If you realize man has physical strength to work and earn bread for women, therefore some time he has to move or travel alot away from one place. In that case he may marry another lady completing above mentioned conditions.
So he may be prevented from going astray and prevented from wrong doings.
_If you see statistics of how many men and women in defferent countries, you will realize there are more women then men. Islam provides a very respected means for every one to solve this problem, again full filling above mentioned conditions.
_If we adopt or take advantage of this liberty we can avoid what is going on in this world specially inn non Muslim countries. Lots of men have so many women out of marriage without or with knowledge of their legal wives. It is mess.
In my opinion this conditional liberty ( It is a responsibility to a man in fact), to men may resolve so many social problems, Including prostitution, Rape cases, Women suicides, Women health in general specially mental health. etc. etc.

Then how about wife marrying more than one husband to help a brother in marriage for the sake of Allah. Not for sexual needs, of course but imagine to save a man who can't have children so he can still please his wife and not miss out. Some women in the west also have more than one bf that the other partner does not know about. How about a marriage to help the husband of the wife who dies? What if the wife is earning a lot of money so she can help another brother or two in marriage?

Yes I would support him although I know it would not be easy. There is a reason why Allah allows polygamy (however doesn't encourage it). Allah knows best.

NO having more than one women is disgraceful to me...anyways...I don't know how western muslims do it?
