If you are living in America, then I'm pretty sure you don't have to worry about that......it's illegal!! If you are not taking care of the dog properly, or neglecting or abusing it in any way...(and this includes failing to housebreak and training), then perhaps you should try to find someone who would adopt the animal and give him a loving home. Owing a pet or companion animal is a responsibility, not a right. Everyone in the household must be in complete agreement regarding the caretaking and whether or not the home is suitable for a pet, or it will only hurt your furry friend. I'd try to find him a really good home if your mom dislikes him that much. Your local SPCA can help. Good Luck

Cook stepmom. Feed her to the dog. Realistically though, get advice from the SPCA or PETA. I wouldn't usually send someone to PETA for advice, but they may be able to prove they're good for something. Something besides bitching about eel bowling, that is.
But you're on more solid ground than you think you are. This kind of threat can be considered emotional (and thus, domestic) abuse. Don't hesitate to contact the authorities about this.

That's just flat out dumb.....I am so sure that your chinese stepmother is really going to cook you dog. Yeah, right. That's not in the least funny. Besides, its not chinese people that eat dog...it phillipino.

First, find out if there are any other pets missing in the neigborhood. If there are, then go ahead and let your dog go. If you really care for the animal, you'll get rid of it for its sake. If not, then cook her!!!

Well...unless you want the dog to end up in the pot you had better give the dog away. In China people eat dogs. In other countrys some people eat rats, monkeys, pigs, snails etc. and to them it is normal. Its your call lady and you are going to have to call it right on this one.
