I've liked this guy for about three months now and we're slowly getting to know each other. He has invited me to a house party that he's having. I scared to go because I know that he wants his friends to meet me. I've been told that if a guy likes a girl alot he will seek the approval of his male friends before he will proceed. Is this true? I'm usually quiet in social settings (shy) and I'm afraid his friends will think I'm anti-social. What should I do?

Unless he thinks he has no taste of his own and usually seeks approval from his friends in other areas of his life ......which i doubt . I wouldnt read too much into it ..yes he probably wants you to meet his friends but not for the reasons you think maybe he wants to make them all jealous ...bet you didnt think of that!

Just go to the party and just say hello. USUALLY, he will get the approval of his friends if the girl appears to be "kind of shy and very sweet". Just go and be yourself. He will ask for their opinion but it won't be the part of his final judgment.

Yes that is true.. The guys always do this type of stuff. But, right, be yourself and if he truly likes you, he will not care about his friends approval

i do talk to my friends about the girls i like but i dont care if they like them or dont.everyone likes diffrent things.just say nice to meet you and all that,stick with the program,involve your self in their conversations,if you dont know about the topic,just be a good listen and that will project you as a social being.

Seriously. Stop thinking about it. What's true is that you are who you are and that is exactly what you need to be - if his friends don't dig it and he rejects you because of it, then you just got to move on sister. You need to be where you're appreciated. Period.
But chances are they'll like you.

Don't worry about what his friends think. Be yourself, have fun & don't change your ways for anyone. He should like you for YOU, and if he doesn't, he isn't worth your time.

his freinds will have a little affect on it, my friends didnt think soo much of my last gf, and i broke up wit her and i regreted it
