Not as long as the United States keeps the borders open. I wonder if anyone else thinks that fence will never be built.
I think they should build a jail right there on the border and hire enough people to cover all of it. It would probably be cheaper than building a fence. Put up warning signs that trespassers will be incarcerated. And then DO IT.
Give the border patrol personnel something to do other than waving them on when they head for U S soil.
I've heard how Mexico treats anyone who ILLEGALLY enters their country. We should do the same.
I have nothing against immigrants. Just the illegals who cross the border in droves.

If the answer is yes. Then no, the United States of Mexico wouldn't ever become a modern, advanced nation.

NO: They lack the desire at the government level. I personally believe there officials can be easily bought. I wouldn't be surprised if a majority of there government from City all the way up to federal isn't on the Drug cartels Payroll. You cannot become a Modern Prosperous nation when corruption runs rampant in your ranks.

Not as long as they breed like rats, and allow drug lords to run the country, and allow their government to ignore them.
It will be many years into the future nad wioll cause much trouble. unless america pressures mexico to open its doors to other people just like mexico expects other countries to do for their over populated unemployed.
They must be pressured into allowing guranteed ownership of land, and homes for both the natives and outsiders to ever escape proverty and over population and attract investors lookinf fo rsomething besides temporary cheap labour.
Only complete democracy will work fo rmexicans as they have so many of them experienced freedopm here and willnot go back.

The way you phrased your question makes it sound like you are racist. Do you see how some people are answering your question? Some people are making racist answers. I am not Mexican, but I know people who are Mexicans that aren't illegal immigrants. You're question should be something that sounds less racist.
To that other person who said that Mexicans aren't that smart, it sounds to me like YOU are the one who is dumb. Race does not determine how smart a person is. The reason why you think they are dumb is not because they are dumb but because many don't have the chance to go to college.

yes they will but not anytime soon........give them about 200 years and they will be like what USa is like now and by then the USA will be way way ahead.........this Mexico will then still be considered a 3rd world nation...................
