No, of course not! The only way it could die is if the tick had "Lyme Disease", and it wasn't treated for the didease. I bet that you AND your dog will do just fine.

Dogs don't die just because a tick is in the ear. However, the tick should be removed, since many carry diseases, and the wound in the ear where the tick bit could get infected.

If you can't get the tick out, take the dog to the vet.

If by "it just fell to quickly" you mean the tick is already out, your dog is probably fine. Watch him for a few days for fever or distress, and if he starts getting sick go to the vet.

If every dog that got a tick died as a result, there would be very few dogs around. If you're concerned, take the dog to the vet. They may prescribe antibiotics, they may try to fully remove the tick. But it's not a life-or-death situation. Ticks do carry Lyme Disease, so hopefully your dog has been vaccinated against that.

It is very important that you get the tick out or take it to the vet. If the tick stays in the dog, the dog will get EXTREMELY sick and may die.

Dogs can get sick. Some may die. Ticks are also a risk to humans because they carry Lyme disease.

oh definitly not but dont poke around in his ear...he may shake it out and if not bring him to your vet to get it removed...Goodluck!

dogs dont die from lyme disease either...and only deer ticks carry the disease...look for lamesness, painful joints, fever...those are the typical signs of lyme disease. but they may not show up. some dogs dont show symptoms.
