i'm in the beginning stages of locking my hair, so its been twisted for a week now. is it best to spray hair spray moisturizers (dr. miracle, african pride, etc) or to use oil spray?

You won't be able to wash your hair vigorously just yet so you don't want to put too much product in your hair.Actually what I did when I started my locks 3 yrs ago was make a spritz out of mainly water and a couple tablespoons of jojoba oil. I would spritz it each day. Good luck and patience!!!

if you don't already know about knottyboy.com then go there and they have lots of stuff that you use for your hair to keep it okay.. like shampoos and spray and everything you need for dreads. I had dreads once. Knottyboy is AWESOME for dread supplies!!
