Whether or not he talks back to you kind of depends on his personality, does he seem shy? I think that maybe you should do a little bit more than say hi to him, maybe even try to work up a conversation. Good Luck!!!!!!!

yea talk wit him start slow and become friends then i mean you can never know he might end up liking you and i dont think he would be confused though
