However, there are many accreditation courses that would help you further your knowledge and expertise to become a "Certified Travel Consultant" (CTC). Additionally, almost every cruise line, tour operator and destination offer specialty courses to assist you to become a "Specialist" in that area of the business

If you are trying to start your own agency then you need to get an IATA number or CLIA number. If you are just trying to work for one already in business then you may be required to get a certificate of completion of Travel school.
