One inch of hair takes a month to grow. So be patient. You may not notice but your hair is growing. Hair is nothing but a dead protein. As a result, protein intake is important for healthy hair growth. Dairy (milk) products, soy, tofu, beans, yogurt, brewer's yeast, wheat germ, fish, eggs, pulses and grams are all good sources of protein. They are also good sources of calcium that is essential for healthy hair. Intake of copper is an effective hair loss remedy. In most cases, you do not need supplements; find it from foods such as liver, green vegetables, whole grains, eggs, chicken and beans. Furthermore, having a balanced diet, getting good exercise (daily) and adequate sleep, & avoiding bad foods (junk food) and drugs (smoking) are also important for the growth of beautiful shiny hair.

If you have curly hair, then it's normal that it seems like your hair is not growing. Be patient, because it is growing- just not as fast as you want.
