how many miles is it from NYC to westchester NY? is it driving distance like an hour, or do you need 2 fly

Are you kidding? It is like 20 miles outside of the city. It is seriously about 20-30 minutes from Grand Central in NYC to get to West Chester by commuter train. If you are driving and there is no traffic, it is about 20 minutes as well. With traffic it is around 40 minutes to an hour.

Westchester County is the first one once you pass the City Limits on the North of the City. From the Bronx.

depends on what part of nyc
could be a twenty min drive
or an hour if your heading to lower parts
and have money for parking or a whole load of patience cause that city that never sleeps is making us pay for its insomnia
but then again if your coming from good old WESTCHESTER than you prob got money

It's driving distance, like an hour or less. Or you can commute on the Metro-North train from Grand Central.
