FOR ONE, YOU CAN'T GET A CHI FOR 40 BUCKS. IT HAS TO BE FAKE....
IF YOU TAKE CARE OF YOU CHI IT WILL LAST. DON'T SCRUNCH THE CORD UP. IT WILL BREAK.
MAKE SURE YOU TURN IT OFF. OR IT WILL BURN UP.
I HAVE ONE. AND ITS GREAT.
BUT IF YOU HAVE A SALLY'S BEAUTY SUPPLY BY YOU THERE IS A STRAIGHTENER CALLED
TITANIUM AND IT FRIGGIN ROCKS.....
THE CHI IS NOT EXACTLY MADE FOR BLACK HAIR.. IF YOU ARE BLACK..

Chi is a alright, they break a lot, so if you use it make sure you have a warranty OK.
I use the Paul Mitchell, that is also ceramic and to me it way better than the chi.

I hate using a Chi. They do nothing for my hair.
I bought one for like 40 dollars at a beauty store that is WAY better.
