You forgot the Inquisition, the Pope supporting Adolf Hitler and Mussolini, the Pogroms, the Crusades
Goddess only knows why they can't just ooops, I did it again.
If they admit wrong, they might loose followers, and the big guy with the funny hat is supposed to be infalible. Can't be that way if you make boo-boos
One last thing
Catholics ARE christians
the 'Christians' are Protestants - who ever keeps saying
The Catholics this and the Christians that has got to understand Catholics are part of the christian faith. They believe that:
Christ died, descended into the afterlife and rose 3 days later to save humanity from sin. They accept him as their personal savior. On 10/31 back when women ran about looking like QE I and Henry Tudor, her pop, hadn't quite become an skinnier version of Orson Wells, Martin Luther hammered a list of 101 complaints against the Catholic church, this caused the Protestant break which became the Reformation or the Protestant Revolt, depending on what side of the line you fell.
There are 2 or 3 major branches of Christianity today - Catholic (which may or not include the Orthodox - Greek and Russian - depending on who draws up the chart) and the Protestant - Baptist, Apostolic, Mormon, and so on.
Just had to pipe in as I keep seeing the whole Christians versus Catholic thing.

Catholics believe that God authored their religion and set forth an institution that would convey His message. They believe the Pope to be the voice of God when speaking ex-cathedra on matters of faith and morals.
Catholics believe that anything that is done that is bad is done by men and thus, personal offenses of men are not authored by God, and hense not part of the Catholic Church.
Pedophilia exists everywhere, not just in the Cahtolic church, though I believe the concept of celebacy to be a wrong teaching that leads to sexual frustration.
As far as the Abortion clinic bombings, I think that most of those were carried out by militant conservative christians, and the Catholic church does not intentionally incite violence for any purpose.
The above said, I'm not a Catholic, but a Pagan. I did come from a family that was affected by a pedophile priest, and that may be part of the reason I'm Pagan. The current Pope frightens me. Still, I don't think that the Catholic church in any way promotes violence today. (The Malleus Maleficarum, the inquisition, the holy crusades were definite exhibits of violence, but not the sort of thing that would happen presently)
I don't subscribe to Catholic (or Christian for that matter) beliefs, but genuinely believe that most Catholics and most Christians are seeking peace. Their major flaw is that they do so through a philosophy of exclusivity.

1) I am Catholic
2) I am a STRONG believer in personal responsibility
3) Pedophilia is a horrible crime
4) Less than 2% of priests were committing pedophilia
5) Even is ONE priest is committing crimes against children, that is a serious problem and the offenders should be drug into the streets and beaten severely.
6) Abortion clinic bombs are usually not Catholics. Believe it or not, but Catholics are NOT the strongest abhorers of abortion.
I accept my faith, for all its faults and folleys throughout its TWO THOUSAND YEAR history. Despite the fact that it has been run by humans, it still is the one true path to God. Amen.

Your premise is flawed. The church consistently admits its failings and seeks to remedy them. For example, the church has acknowledged the sins committed by priests against young people and is taking steps to ensure children are protected. Check out the website below to see the church's plan of action.
As for abortion clinic bombs, the church strongly condemns anyone who commits violence against innocent people, including abortionists. An inherently evil act cannot be justified, even if it's for a good reason. Stem cell research is a good example: killing an unborn child is evil. It is not justified because the resulting scientific gain may someday save lives.
Is it your contention that people commit these acts because the church tells them to? If so, you don't understand the Catholic faith. Perhaps you should do some research before condemning the faith of 1 billion+ people.

Actually not all Catholics do. However, in ANY religion most of the bad stuff is caused by the people of the church, not the victims. At one point the horrible idea was presented. If enough had objected, it wouldn't have happened. I'm sure that doesn't fit for each one, but it would for a lot. BTW I'm not Catholic but some of the kindest, most sincerely Christian people I know are.

Because the Bible doesn't say to molest children or bomb abortion clinics. And because a Catholic person can choose to bomb an abortion clinic or molest children while another Catholic person can choose not to. Because hopefully everyone, no matter what their religion, can make his/her own decisions, whether good or bad. Decisions are not made by a religion. Decisions are made by people.

Because there's nothing in the Catholic doctrine that advocates peodphilia or abortion clinic bombs. If there was a papal directive ordering Catholics to bomb clinics, that would be another thing. As it is, it's individuals who warp their faith in such a way that they feel that it's proper to commit these acts that their faith tells them is a sin.

Satan controls the Catholic Church system for nearly 2,000 years. Many people don't realize and they DON'T believe in Satan and Hell.
Many people think that Catholic is the oldest religion. Not really. To love and accept Jesus Christ in your life is all you need. This isn't a religion. It's a necessary for your salvation. Jesus existed long before the creation of the earth. He came into this world to die for our sins 2,000 years ago. Today, He's still alive. He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Jesus Christ existed LONG before Catholic Church. It's easy to remember that Jesus Christ loves you so much... there's no love in Catholic Church...Catholics worships virgin Mary (why there are so many virgin Marys on the walls, idols, etc in Catholic church??). I have seen the pictures of Pope John Paul sitting on a big chair (looks like a throne) with an upside down cross on the back...the Pope believes that he's "higher than God."
Don't be brainwashed by the Catholic religion system. It's like a machine that controls everything around the globe.

People make bad choices, not Churches, a Church is a holy place where imperfect people go. Most are there because they are generally Good, but EVERY religion has bad apples. Why pick on us Catholics? For that matter why pick on ANY religion? Get a life Dude, get a life!
