Think of this: statisticaly, driving a car is more dangerous than flying. That is, there a lot more dying in a car crush per year than in a plane crush. You might think that you are more in control of the situation when you are driving. But unless you are driving a heavy tank, you are NOT. If you were informed of every car accident with all the details you'd never want to drive again.

Think of this: flight attendats get OLD on their jobs. So do pilots. They fly all the time. They are much more exposed to this danger. But, like I said, they do it for years and nothing bad happens.

You just need to fly a lot more and get used to it.

Get a window seat, it is always better for me. But if you're afraid of heights don't, because that wouldn't be good. When the plane starts you will drive around until you find the correct runway. When you get there, the plane will start going really fast but everythings still okay, then you will take off. It will feel really weird if it's your first time flying. Then you will start getting higher until you reach cruising altittude, then everything will go smoothely unless you encounter turbulance( when you are flying your ears will feel kind of weird). When it is time for decent, it will seem like it's going down fast, and you are going to be turning a lot, so try to not concentrate on that. Then the hardest part of flying is landing. Some pilots are abloe to land it smoothely, but it's a hard job. There you go.

I dont like flying at all. But I have to do it a lot for my job. Also, if I want to go somewhere, I have to fly. I get major anxiety and claustaphobia on the plane. I usually take something to calm me down, doctor has given me a xanax to take when I fly. I wouldnt recommend have an alcoholic drink, because you may get very dehydrated. I usually put in earphones and have a lot of magazines. That helps. I also dress in layers too. Incase I get nervous, I can always take off a layer to stay cool and calm. I would also recommend picking an aisle seat in the front half of the plane. That way, you can get up as much as you like and have easy access to the bathroom. Good luck...I know how it feels!!!

When transportation deaths are computed by passenger miles. That is multiply the number of people by the number of miles traveled. By far- - - very far, the safest is air travel. The most dangerous, by very far is the family automobile.
If you've ever even stepped into a car without worry, air travel should be a cinch. Step into the plane with confidence. If possible try to get a window seat. Force yourself to look out and enjoy the trip.

Maui is so beautiful, I'd go if I had to walk. Are you afraid of losing control, leaving children behind, what? If you don't go, you'll regret it the rest of your life. When you step off the plane and smell that terrific sea breeze, any nervousness you felt will vaporize. And how romantic Hawaii is!

Take some sleeping pills on the plane, so you won't know when you are up in the air. You may have some bad dreams, but the flight should be over super quick.
