I weighed 65 pounds when I was 12, and I'm an adult and perfectly normal now, although still on the small side no matter how much I eat. Some people just have a small build. However, if your friend's daughter refuses to eat or obsesses over her weight, then there is a problem. Otherwise, if the doctor says she's healthy, there's nothing to worry about.

Tell her to eat small meals frequently. Drink a whole milk, milkshake right before she goes to bed.
