Hey there, I have a friend I have known for a while and he is now single and he has been calling me for various reasons all legitamite and he has also talked about us getting together, finally we both were able to get out for some fun as we both have kids and are divorced it is hard. We went out and had a blast, talked had drinks, played around kinda silly, joking then we went to a bar for another drink and then walked back to my car, I gave him a hug b/c I thought he wanted to just hang as friends... but I find myself thinking about him often, he has called me twice and written me once since then about two weeks ago and wants to do it again, I said I wanted to as well, I think he likes me but I am not sure... any thoughts?? I wouldn't be so confused normally but it is clouding my mind.. one other thing, he doesn't want to jump into something serious again as he was hurt in his marriage...does this mean he is just comfortable with me... and our friendship or does he perhaps want more?

It sounds to me that he is possibly a bit lonely, and really enjoys your company.
you said yourself that he doesn't want to jump into another relationship, so he just wants to take things slowly.
It also seems that you feel the same way too.
Just jet the relationship roll along. Follow your heart and not your mind. Don;t worry about it - just enjoy it.
I wish you both the best of luck

Do yourself and your children a great big favor; give him time to work through the junk left from a bad marriage, be his friend, but leave it there. It will be amazing how you truly can be his friend without getting caught in the crossfire. When he gets through sorting out who he is and assessing where he is in his life, it will be real apparent if you two fit or don't, either way you will come out whole and your kids won't have committed to another man in their lives that won't be there next year.

Pull away for awhile. Don't answer his calls. Get busy. If he starts calling you more and writing more letter then you'll know that he's interested in you. Men like a challenge. That's why they enjoy sports so much. Don't make it so easy for him. Give him time to miss you. Trust me it works. If he really likes you this will drive him crazy and he'll regret ever telling you that he doesn't want a relationship.

Just take it one step at a time. It sounds like you two are building up to something. Take it slow though, because you already know that he doesn't want to jump into anything. Continue to be his friend, go out with him again, but don't get worked up over it - Just go with the flow, be yourself and enjoy it all. Hope it works out the way you want it to. :)

It sounds like good clean fun right now and he sounds like a good friend, but what do you want? do you want to get into a relationship?? Are you looking for something casual??? Or do you want just a friend??? It sounds to me like he likes you, he's calling, he's asking you out, you don't usually do that for just anyone. It's up to you to decide how far you want to let it go.

I would probably say that he wants more but not so fast. Remember to take it very slowwwwwwwly. If you try to rush the relationship then he will feel like he's with to please you. It sounds like he wants to be with you but it's up to him to decide it. Just give him time. He's a guy, you'll know soon enough. This coming from a guy myself.

why don't you ask one of your other friends (or anyone else who is trustworthly enough) to ask him if he wants to be more than your friend. if he says no just tell your friend to say 'well neither does she!!' if yes 'she does to.' easy as pie.
