Assuming you received your green card as a result of your marriage to your spouse, you can file your application for citizenship when you have been a green card holder for two years and nine months. You must still be married to the person when you file your application for citizenship.
You have a little longer to wait. Good luck!

By operation of the law you will certainly become a US citizen by marrying an American. Likewise, you had been a greencard holder for 2 years already. File for application for a US citizen and you will soon become an American.
