I was in a crowded station bus/train/airport/mall based on my observation Muslims do beso beso (Kiss each other) and shake hands amongst each other do they need a hug? or is it something else?

Are you serious?

Muslims hug each other in full embrace and switch sides in so doing.

Did you expect them to suck face or what?

This has nothing to do with Islam, it only a custom in only some Arabic countries, in fact, the early Muslims ( and the current ones who try to follow their tradition) used to use Hugs and handshaking without kissing.

That's a very interesting concept and I like it. My daughter always asks me for a hug and I get great smiles as a result. Maybe they really need a hug. It may sounds funny but make sense. You may have something there.

Really, this is a custom----from way back when. You will find it in the Mediterranean countries, too-----no matter the religion.

It is something cultural and not coming from Islam.

Shake hands is Islamic.
