im 19 years old and i weigh 285.. I was 230 when i graduated and for the most part was happy at that weight (im failry muscular). i have to be up at 5am and dont get home untill 530 when i start my college homework. I also live in a cold extremely cold weather area so working out out doors can be problemsum. So i need help with both making a diet and exercise that our effective however not time consuming as i would probably have about a hour to workout.. My ideal weight would probably be about 200 pounds i dont know if i could sustain less than that although if i could it would be fine with me haha.

thanks for any and all help!!!!!

Try taking up indoor soccer or hockey during the winter months, you will burn up plenty of calories and have great fun in the process.

I've got a schedule similar to yours and two children too. I'm loseing weight now. I make good eating decisions and cut out snacking while I'm absorbed in homework. It's cold but I park far away, about a 7 minute walk. I go out and walk for a few minutes between class. I will also take breaks(sometimes even during class) and play on the stairs. Good exercise and I'm getting away with it! I set aside one day to go to the gym and run, lift weights and/or swim. The university has free gym memvership. That's all I do and I have been looseing about 2 pounds week. It adds up after a semester.
