Child molesters come from EVERY walk of life, not just clergyman. look to recent events in Congress. It is not a hobby, it is an illness. unfortunately, it receives more media attention when the molester is a minister than when it is the guy next door.

Not ALL of them are... In this world / God's TRUE church , there will always be the tare ( bad ) and the wheat ( good )... Jesus said to let them live together until the harvest ( I Thessalonians 3 : 13 - 17 ; Rev 20 : 3,4 ,5 )... so be not surprised.. but to study the word of God and be approved unto him ,a workman who need not be ashamed , rightly dividing the word of truth ( II Tim 2 :15 ) ... Firstly pedophilia is a sickness not a hobby and secondly i think the church isn't doing its job letting people who have this sickness around innocent children. More background checks and psychological test need to be done on these priest before they are cut loose on the public.

get over it - it is the minority - not the majority. why not look at child molesters that are white, 35-50 year old married men - their percentage is MUCH higher.
