I'm a guy shes a girl we are 15, should I give advice? Or just listen to her? A hug? I have heard it isn't good to try and fix a girls problems, should I try to get her to work things out herself?

It truly depends on what she's upset about. Your best bet is to just listen to her and let her get her frustrations about the situation out of her system. If she asks for advice, put yourself in her shoes and really think about it first. When girls are upset (as I'm sure you know having a girl for a best friend) they can be very irrational or overanalytical and if you're not careful she could take it the wrong way.

Good luck!

just listen and probably a good, comforting hug will do. it's not that you always have to say something to comfort a friend... just sitting there with her and listening to her would be comforting enough.^_^

good luck.
