My best friend is a girl (we are 15, im a guy). Everyone is always asking if we are going out or saying I like her or she likes me, theres almost always a rumor going round. Why is this? Does boy/girl best friends always look like this? We are both single if that matters.

I think that a boy and a girl can be friends but then people always spread rumour because there are a lot of jobless people around. Its is hard to look like friends to everyone else but its good to know you two are friends.

Being 15 your peers haven't accepted the fact that a boy and girl can be just friends, even older people sometimes have trouble accepting "just friends". My advice to you would be to ignore the rumors and enjoy your friendship and no they don't always look like that it just depends on the maturity level of the spectators.

Allot of people from your age and up are so board with their own life that they have to look hard to find something else to do or some one else to talk about ,,,,, Don't begrudge them this activity ,,,, The poor things don't seem to have a life I guess and it sounds like you and your friend are quite popular ,,,, So enjoy the lime light ,,,,, If they aren't taking food off of the table or money out of your pocket then they aren't really hurting you anyway ,,,,,, You might think about giving them other things to talk about concerning you two ,,,,, It would be just that much more entertaining for them ,,,,,,, lol Have fun ,,,, your friend too ,,,,, Yoda said that ,,,,,, (grins)

the people that startted the rumor are trying to make you feel bad but that happen to me a lot last year but if you just let it go it the rumor will go away after time and you wont be bothered by it. but trust me after time the rumor will go a way

i used to get that all the time,
me and my best friend are different sexes and everyone always turned around saying that we like each other or we are going out,
dont worry about them let people talk,
just have fun dont worry bout anyone else

you see people see you together alot right?So the more they see you hanging out the more they will start thinking that there nothing wronge with having a friend that's a girl just till those other kids to shotup
