Yep! Greek Orthodox, Armenians, Roman Catholics, Copts, Ethiopians and Syrian Orthodox could not decide which of them should have the key to this very important Christian landmark Church in Jersusalem, so they gave it to a prominent Palestinian Muslim family (two families actually).

Remember, Muslim control of the key, however, does not mean Muslim control of the Church.

No point to me made here. Just wondering if you knew this...There is hope for peace in the world...

free1indeed: You read too much into it! I already mentioned that holding the key does not mean control, so here you are saying that it's going to be a bargaining chip! If the Christians whanted to, at any time, they can take the key back. There is no problem with either the Christians who gave the key, and the Muslims who have the key...can you see that?

There will be no peace as long as propaganda is being spread that is untrue. I do not even know that I believe any one hold the key. I just wish the muslims would quit trying to push their own little slant on everything religious. I am so tired of hearing they are the only ones who have it right and they are theones who are doing the most infighting between themselves. How can you be expected to be taken seriously if you cannot even reconcile things amongst yourselves? Which Muslims are we supposed to believe are the friendlies and which are the fundies?

Well, this pretty well says that the Church will be a bargaining chip sometime in the future.

Or they will kill anyone who thinks of going in that building, because, that, after all is all it is.

So what if they hold the key. They aren't stronger than God
