Not sure where you got this figure but for the hundred million or so who live in China the answer is that Bibles are illegal there and it's tough to smuggle them in. Same goes for other communist and many islamic countries. But we're working hard to get them into these places and whatever the actual number is, expect it to decrease dramatically over the next decade.

I hope you realize that your question make no sense... I've never met a Christian who didn't own at least 2 Bibles! I don't know who you got that "fact" from but you should just ignore them, they don't know what they're talking about...

Many christians have several versions I know I do. I have never seen a Christian without a bible. Now wether they believe it or act on what they read or not. I don't know about that?

I am not christian and I have the first bible given to me when I was in grade three.

Two reasons: First, most are too ignorant to read anything. Second, if they did read it, and saw how ridiculous it was, most would quit being christians. Also, I should say, "You just made up that statistic." That's what the born-again boneheads say when anyone cites an statistic they don't like.

THEY CANNOT READ, FOR ONE, OR THAY MUST SPEND THEIR CASH ON FOOD, FOR ANOTHER. NO DOUBT THERE ARE TRIBES WITH NO WRITTEN LANGUAGE, ANOTHER. GOOD QUESTION, GOD BLESS
