Only artificial hormones in the pill can have any effect on the consistency of flow dear. If you want to take a pill made from the urine of pregnant horses that is your business but otherwise you just have to live with the flow nature gave you. Some of us are very heavy and others don't need any protection at all. Be lucky you aren't like me or you'd be anemic or dead (super plus tampon and maxi pad soaked through in half hour). I know the embarrassment that you can face at school especially if you are still in Junior high so I recommend that you find the thinnest most absorbant maxi pad you can find (Overnight extra long in the back)and take plenty with you, if you are using tampons then you might want to move up to the super plus tampax with the pad. With the overnight pad you have extra protection when sitting all day that a regular length one cannot provide.

There is nothing you can do by tomorrow, but if you continue to have heavy periods with cramps you might want to consider taking a form of hormonal birth control (like the pill).
It usually reduces the length, the amount of menstrual fluid, and pain.
Exercise helps too...exercise regularly.

You don't want a light period, and I'll tell you why: If your uterus does not fully shed its lining, over time it will build up and can lead to cancer or other illness. Your body needs to shed its lining naturally. If for you this means a heavy period, then you will have to deal with it because it's what your body needs. Just make sure to take a bunch of sanitary supplies with you when you're having your period. It's not convenient, but if you're healthy, it's not the end of the world, either.

To get a light menstruation, you really can't do anything about it because every female has a different body. However, I do suggest exercising and drinking a lot of water. When I started to do track and drink a lot of water, my period was very light and short. However, I am not sure if this works for you or anyone else because my body is different, but I do suggest trying it. Good luck...

you could have an infection or STD which could be causing some irritation making you have the spotting. You don't always have symptoms when you are pregnant. Not everyone gets morning sickness. I didn't. I don't know your age, but you can go to a local clinic and get a pap smear and they can do an exam on you. also do an at home pregnancy test to put your mind at ease. female problems should be followed up with. if you do have an infection and let it go untreated you risk having fertility problems down the road. my advice to you is make an appointment with your dr. and go on birth control if you do not want to get pregnant! you can also get free condoms at local family planning clinics...

The birth control pill works pretty well, but I'm afraid it's not going to help you by tomorrow. Try wearing a tampon and a pad so you won't have to run and change in the bathroom as often.
I hope I helped!

Talk to your doctor about different forms of the pill. It helps relieve cramps, shortens and lightens your period, and can also help with acne. Good luck.

I think your flow depends on the person. I never have a heavy flow. My aunt swears that if she doesn't use tampons that her period lasts only two days. I'm not bold enough to try.

the birth control pill yasmin makes your periods light and short, but it takes time, you need to consistently use it for a while before it starts to become effective. ask your doctor and they'll tell you if it's right for you
