Please read the details BEFORE you call me a bigot.

For Example,
this comment from Hayden Lyfe

" it makes me feel dirty to be on the same planet as bigots like you"

Obviously he jumped to judgement and didn't get the facts

Or how bout this one from jhmhsi?
"Are you some religious crackpot? Wait, that's a dumb and unnecessary question. Of course you are. Else, you wouldn't be asking something this asinine. Ellen Degeneres is a wondrous entertainer, and the fact that she's lesbian makes me love her more. "

Hayden - This just goes to show what you DONT know about people. You jump to judgement.
You, sir, are as bigotted as a person can get.

Ronin - You are right. Next time I'll write *sarcastic eye roll* or something. :)
I really meant that for the people who yell "You're Christian, you need to boycott her."
Thanks for the reminder that you can't see my expression through the computer. :)

It's hard to tell if your "I should be boycotting her or something" was tongue in cheek or not when you type it. It might be easier if we could see your expression as you said it.

I keep getting that today too. I posted a question about religious colleges and I got jumped all over by people telling me "If you have to go to a religious college, your faith is weak! You need to get out in the real world! You're too immature for a college education!" simply because I posted the question without specifying my own stance on it. Never mind that I'm not religious, never mind that I'm working on my master's--at a non-religious university.

This info is all available on my bio...I look at people's bios a lot to see where they're coming from on ambiguous questions. I think I'm the only one.

I very often examine the final factors in the previous answering. The exception is whilst someone starts to rant approximately how their question have been given bumped off or how yahoo solutions sucks and that i purely become bored and determine its no longer properly worth my time so I purely pass something of what i've got not yet examine.

I called you a bigot for thinking no,wait, you said "I know" that she ought to be boycootted just because she's a lesbian--it doesn't matter at all that you think she's funny and have been gracious ebough to spare her from your personal vendetta against gays--you just think she's good enough to be tolerated while you hate all the rest--you are a bigot--end of story

You are acting in a bigoted way by stating that you "know" she should be boycotted because she is a lesbian.

If you make bigoted statements, you risk being labeled as a bigot.

Yes I read it all and I saw those complaints. Ignore them. Some react violently to anything they are offended by. Each person is free to watch what they wish for whatever reason that they wish.

About me you're right. As I said, I don't care about Ellen as an entertainer one way or another.
